Wedge wire screen is known as profile wire screen, V- wire screen, and wedge wire screen, Johnson type screen.

It is wrapped welded by a V-shaped wire around with the vertical support rods. Each intersection of the profiles wire and support rod is well welded. It has a smooth surface, resistant to clogging and a greater structural strength.

The profile wire(wire wrapped) is triangular wire(v-shaped wire) trapezoid wire or wedge wire. the support rod can be round wire, triangular wire(v-shaped wire), trapezoid wire, or wedge wire.
